MAKING A DONATION TO THE ORDINARIATE

The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham Charity

Confirmed Members of the Ordinariate and members of Exploration Groups should contribute directly to the Ordinariate of OLW Charity via their Ordinariate Group accounts (using Standing Orders, Envelopes and loose cash). Most of the Ordinariate Groups have their own bank account and are organising their giving at a local level. If you are a Group member please ask your Group leader if this is in place and, ideally, set up a standing order to that account using the specific forms for that Group. If the Group does not have its own Ordinariate Bank Account then Standing Orders may be directed to the central Ordinariate account using the forms below.

Standing Order

If at all possible please give by Standing Order. Giving this way helps the Ordinariate greatly because it:
      •  Removes the need to count, store and bank cash.
      •  Reduces administration time and costs for the Ordinariate.
      •  Streamlines the Gift Aid claim process.
      •  Helps the Ordinariate to plan its cash-flow.

Please note that the Forms of Giving below should only be used if your Group does not have its own Ordinariate Bank account. Please speak to your group leader.

Making a Secure On-line Donation

You can make a Secure On-line Donation to the Ordinariate in two ways.
Our preferred method is through MyDonate, a service to registered charities offered by BT. Not only is it completely secure but it is a free fundraising service where every penny give goes directly to the Ordinariate.

The great advantage of MyDonate is that if you are a UK Tax payer you can Gift Aid your donation. You can use any Credit or Debit card using MyDonate.

Making a Donation by Cheque

Donations can be made by cheque, made out to The Ordinariate of OLW and sent to:
Mr Cyril Wood, Financial Secretary, The Ordinariate of OLW, 24 Golden Square, London W1F 9JR.

Making a Bequest to the Ordinariate

You may copy the exact words into the body of the text of your Will or print the Bequest Form, and lodge it with your Will as a codicil. To prevent Wills being lost, and to keep them up to date you are advised that all Wills may be deposited for safe keeping at the Probate Office for a fee of £20.00. You are strongly advised to seek legal advice when drawing-up your Will.
