Sunday 1st September 2013
The Ordinary, Monsignor Keith Newton, confirmed four teenagers on Sunday 1 September at St Anselm's church, Pembury, home of the Tunbridge Wells Ordinariate group. The confirmations followed those of five adults who were confirmed at St Anselm's by Bishop John Hine in July. Fr Ed Tomlinson, leader of the Tunbridge Wells group, said the number of confirmations was a great sign of renewal in a community as small as St Anselm's, where roughly 150 people are registered as worshippers. The confirmation Mass for the teenagers was followed by refreshments in the garden.
