Full Communion for Anglican priest of 48 years

Former Anglican clergyman of 48 years, the Reverend Paul Miller, and his wife Hilary, were received into the full communion of the Catholic Church on the feast of the conversion of St Paul.

On the night that our Lord was betrayed, in the upper room, he prayed that his followers should all be one (cf. John 17:21). That all Christians are not united is a source of great scandal - because it limits and distorts the work of evangelisation, to which all Christ's faithful are called.

Hundreds gather to celebrate Ordinariate

On Sunday, by kind permission of Fr Christopher Colven, the Marylebone Ordinariate Group organised Solemn Evensong, Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction at St James, Spanish Place, to celebrate the first anniversary of the erection of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Ordinary presided and preached at the celebration at which around 500 people were present.


The Portal Magazine

The Portal Magazine has become the official magazine of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. Monsignor Keith Newton today announced that the Portal Magazine is, in future, to be an official publication of the Ordinariate.


Another Anglican bishop answers Pope Benedict's call to unity

Former Anglican monk and bishop, Robert Mercer, has been received into the full communion of the Catholic Church by Monsignor Keith Newton through the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.


Ordinary welcomes appointment of US counterpart

Monsignor Keith Newton has enthusiastically welcomed the appointment of the Reverend Dr Jeffrey Steenson as the first Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of The Chair of St Peter, erected today in the United States.
