The well known journalist Charles Moore, whose authorised biography of Margaret Thatcher has recently been published, has been speaking about the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham at a packed gathering at the Oratory Church in London, organised by the Friends of the Ordinariate charity. He said the Ordinariate should not be seen as a "decompression chamber" for former Anglicans to adjust to becoming Catholics, but rather as a positive and enriching thing in itself, which is built to last.


Ordinary preaches at Westminster Cathedral

The Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, Monsignor Keith Newton, has told thousands of Mass-goers in Westminster Cathedral that many Catholics are unaware of - or misunderstand - the Ordinariate. He said it could be quite distressing for Anglicans who had made a difficult journey in order to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church to be asked, for example, why they did not become "proper Catholics".

Joanna Bogle granted Papal honour

Well-known journalist and EWTN presenter, Joanna Bogle, has been made a Dame of the Order of S. Gregory. During a ceremony on Monday evening, the Archbishop of Southwark invested Mrs Bogle at a Mass celebrated by Monsignor Keith Newton, the Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.


Ordinary to attend Sacra Liturgia 2013 in Rome
