Members of LOGS (Ladies Ordinariate Group) went to Whitstable in Kent on Friday 30 May for their annual visit to the Southwark Vocations Centre there, which is run by Father Stephen Langridge. The group has adopted the Vocations Centre as a prayer-project. After Mass in the recently- renovated chapel, followed by lunch, the group heard reports from the young men who are working and studying at the Centre with a view to the priesthood: their activities have ranged from helping with a parish mission in Yorkshire to working with schools and youth groups. The group then gathered for the Rosary at the shrine of Our Lady in the garden before ending the day with a walk along the beach. The Ladies Ordinariate Group is based at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Borough, London (home of the London South Ordinariate group) and also includes members from the Croydon and London Central groups. They meet regularly for prayer, action and pilgrimages.
