Parishioners at the Church of the Precious Blood at The Borough, London Bridge, took to the streets again last Sunday, with a procession to mark the Feast of Christ the King, the final Sunday of the Church's year. Preceded by a Papal flag, and with Fr Chrisopher Pearson carrying the Blessed Sacrament beneath a canopy held by four members of the parish, the processaion moved along Southwark Street past the Borough Market, and down the Borough High Street.
The Procession finished with Benediction back in the church. The procession caused a few heads to turn along the way and leaflets were distributed to passers-by explaining what was happening.
The parish's next outdoor event will bre carol singing at London Bridge station by members of the Ladies Ordinariate Group and their supporters.
