Father Peter Clarke died in hospital on Thursday 23rd December 2021. He had been suffering from bone cancer and went into hospital on Tuesday.

Bishop Steven Lopes, the Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter in North America, recently visited London for the annual Ordinaries meeting. Unfortunately Monsignor Carl Reid, the Ordinary of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, was unable to be with us physically, as immigration rules in Australia make it impossible for him to leave Australia at this time and return later. Fortunately zoom allowed us to be in contact with him over the weekend.
With the permission of the Holy See, Michael Nazir-Ali was ordained Deacon on Thursday 28th October by Archbishop Kevin McDonald, Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark, at St Mary’s College, Oscott during a residential meeting of the Ordinariate of the Governing Council.
The ordination to the priesthood of Michael Nazir-Ali by Cardinal Vincent Nichols will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption, Warwick Street on Saturday 30th October at 12 noon. The Oradination Mass will be live-streamed.
The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, established for Anglicans seeking full communion with the See of Peter, is pleased to announce that the former Anglican Bishop of Rochester, Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, was received into the full communion of the Catholic Church by Monsignor Keith Newton on the Feast of St Michael and All Angels. With the permission of the Holy See, he will be ordained to the Catholic priesthood for the Ordinariate in due course.
The Rt. Revd. Mgr. Keith Newton offered Holy Mass in the Ordinariate Use at the church of Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, on 14th September 2021.
Neil Scott was ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop Nicholas Hudson, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, at Our Lady of the Assumption, Warwick Street at 10.30am on Sunday 12th September.
