Ordinariate of OLW Formation Fund

This special Training Fund has been set up to gather contributions towards the formation costs of priests and deacons to serve the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. It may be a one-off donation, or a monthly one, but we invite you do take this opportunity to be part of the future of the Ordinariate.

Why do we need more clergy? It is a question often asked. The answer is that we have only eight priests under fifty years of age! Furthermore, in the next five years a further fifty will retire, leaving forty priests, of whom half will retire within the next ten to fifteen years.

Unless we have vocations now, many of our Groups will be without an Ordinariate priest in the medium term Of course, it costs money for these men to go through priestly formation, and if we send anyone to Rome, it costs even more. You may become part of this exciting project though, through prayer and through giving.
