Father John Morley-Bunker, the oldest priest of our Ordinariate, died peacefully on Saturday afternoon. He was 96 years old. Please pray for the response of his soul and also pray for his wife Edna and the family.
Mgr Keith Newton writes: "I knew Fr John for over 30 years from my time as a priest in Bristol. He was a fine priest and I was delighted when the then CDF gave permission for is ordination. Although then in his 80s he exercised a much appreciated ministry in the diocese of Clifton for several years after his ordination."
His Funeral Mass will take place in Clifton Cathedral probably on Wednesday 27th September but we will put the final details on the website when they are known.
