Ordinariate Life

Choral Evensong is one of the gems of the Anglican heritage which has been brought into the liturgical life of the Catholic Church through the Ordinariates. At the Most Precious Blood the full choral office is celebrated monthly, with a choir made up of volunteers and our Choral Scholars.

On Wednesday 11 November, Remembrance Day, the music at Evensong will reflect the theme of Remembrance, beginning with Douglas Guest’s setting of the familiar words of Laurence Binyon: They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. The anthem is John Ireland’s Greater love hath no man.

The service lasts approximately 40 minutes and is followed by a light supper. All are welcome.

When: Wednesday 11 November 2026. For the start time, see preciousblood.org.uk

Where: The Church of the Most Precious Blood, O'Meara Street, London Bridge, SE1 1TE
